WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase and installation of two (2) digital
key telephone systems for the Beaumont Public Library located at 801 Pearl and the Water
Utilities Administration office located at 1350 Langham; and,
WHEREAS, Metrocomm, Inc. of Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid in the amount of
$42,725.55 and;
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Metrocomm,
Inc., of$42,725.55 should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Metrocomm, Inc. for the purchase and installation of two (2)
digital key telephone systems for the Beaumont Public Library and the Water Utilities
Administration office in the amount of$42,725.55 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
