WHEREAS, on January 21, 1997, sealed bids were received for a one (1) year
contract for the purchase of gaskets, couplings, meter boxes, ells, street ells, bushing
reducers, manhole covers, plugs and wyes which are used for various sewer line repairs
for the Water Utilities Department, Sewer Maintenance Division; and,
WHEREAS, Coburn Supply submitted the following bid:

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by Coburn Supply
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by Coburn Supply for a one (1) year contract for the purchase
of gaskets, couplings, meter boxes, ells, street ells, bushing reducers, manhole covers,
plugs and wyes which are used for various sewer line repairs for the Water Utilities
Department, Sewer Maintenance Division in the above amounts be accepted by the City
of Beaumont.
