BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby approves the purchase of computer upgrades for the Police
Department's central computer from IBM Corporation in the amount of $48,808. This
purchase is exempt from competitive bidding because it is available from only one source
due to copyrights. Funds for the purchase are available in the Confiscated Goods Fund.
