WHEREAS, on January 12, 1998, bids were received for a six (6)-month contract
with the option to renew for an additional six (6) months for furnishing approximately forty-
eight (48) personal computers (PC); and,
WHEREAS, CompUSA, Webster, Texas submitted a bid in the amounts shown
below;

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by CompUSA in the
amounts shown above should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Comp USA for a six (6)-month contract with the option to renew
for an additional six (6) months in the amounts shown above be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
