ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIFIC
USE PERMIT TO ALLOW A NEW CHURCH ON LAND
ZONED RCR (RESIDENTIAL CONSERVATION AND
REVITALIZATION DISTRICT) AND A NEW CHURCH
PARKING LOT ON LAND ZONED RS (RESIDENTIAL
SINGEL FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT) AT 4090 PINE
STREET IN THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON
COUNTY, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Beaumont desires to issue a specific use
permit to Reverend Allison Lacy to allow a new church on land zoned RCR (Residential
Conservation and Revitalization District) and a new church parking lot on land zone RS
(Residential Single Family Dwelling District) on 1/2 acre, more or less, being known as Lot
15, Block "N', Beaumont Heights Addition, and lying on the east side of Pine Street and
LaSalle Street, and Tax Tract 51, City Plat D-20, A. Williams Survey, containing 1/2 acre,
more or less, and lying on the west side of Pine Street, as shown on Exhibit "A' attached
hereto, in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the issuance of such specific use
permit is in the best interest of the City of Beaumont and its citizens, subject to the
hereinafter described conditions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
That all conditions necessary for issuance of a specific use permit have been met and
a specific use permit to allow a new church on land zoned RCR (Residential Conservation
and Revitalization District) and a new church parking lot on land zoned RS (Residential

Single Family Dwelling District) on 1/2 acre, more or less,being known as Lot 15,Block"W',
Beaumont Heights Addition, and lying on the east side of Pine Street and LaSalle Street,
and Tax Tract 51, City Plat D-20, A. Williams Survey, containing 1/2 acre, more or less, and
lying on the west side of Pine Street, as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto,in Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas is hereby granted to Reverand Allison Lacy, his legal
representatives, successors and assigns for those certain tracts described on Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes, subject to the above conditions.
Section 2.
That the specific use permit herein granted is expressly issued for and in accordance
with each particular and detail of the site plan attached hereto as Exhibit "B" and made a
part hereof for all purposes.
Section 3.
Notwithstanding the site plan attached hereto, the use of the property hereinabove
described shall be in all other respects subject to all of the applicable regulations contained
in Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas, as amended.
