ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ISSUING A SPECIFIC USE
PERMIT TO ALLOW WILLIAMS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
TO OPERATE A SPECIAL TRADE CONTRACTOR BUSINESS
(CEMENT AND CONCRETE SUB-CONTRACTOR) IN AN AREA
ZONED GC-MD (GENERAL-MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING)
IN THE 1300 BLOCK OF CALDWELL STREET, BEING
LOTS 16 AND 17, BLOCK 25, MCFADDIN HEIGHTS
ADDITION BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Beaumont considered
the issuance of a specific use permit to allow Williams Construction Company to operate a
special trade contractor business (cement and concrete sub-contractor) in an area zoned GC-
MD (General Commercial-Multiple Family Dwelling) in the 1300 block of Caldwell Street,
being Lots 16 and 17, Block 25, McFaddin Heights Addition, Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas, their legal representatives, successors, and assigns for that certain property; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the issuance of such specific use
permit is in the best interest of the City of Beaumont and its citizens, subject to the hereinafter
described conditions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1
That all conditions necessary for issuance of a specific use permit have been met and
a specific use permit to allow Williams Construction Company to operate a special trade
contractor business (cement and concrete sub-contractor) in an area zoned GC-MD (General
Commercial-Multiple Family Dwelling), Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, their legal
hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes, subject to the above conditions.
Section 2.
That the specific use permit herein granted is expressly issued for in accordance with
each particular and detail of the site plan attached hereto as Exhibit "B" and made a part hereof
for all purposes.
Section 3.
Notwithstanding the site plan attached hereto, the use of the property hereinabove
described shall be in all other respects subject to all of the applicable regulations contained in
Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas, as amended.
