ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT FOR THE FISCAL PERIOD
COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 1985 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER
30, 1986 BE AMENDED TO REFLECT A TRANSFER OF
$3, 100 FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT'S BUDGET
ACCOUNT NUMBER 01-31.3-325 TO THE FLEET
REPLACEMENT FUND ACCOUNT NUMBER 17-B98.6-230 FOR
THE PURCHASE OF A CONFISCATED VEHICLE; PROVIDING
FOR SEVERABILITY AND PROVIDING FOR REPEAL.
Section 1 .
That the budget of the City of Beaumont for the fiscal
period commencing October 1, 1985 and ending September 30, 1986 be
amended to provide for the transfer of Three Thousand One Hundred
Dollars from the Police Department' s budget account number to the
Fleet Replacement Fund account number 17-B98.6-230 for the purchase
of a 1984 GMC "Jimmy" vehicle to be used by the Special Services
Division of the Beaumont Police Department.
Section 2 .
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or
phrase of this ordinance, or the application of same to a
particular set of persons or circumstances, should for any reason
be held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining
portions of this ordinance, and to such end the various portions
and provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 3 .
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are repealed to the extent of the conflict only .
