ORDINANCE NO. ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1 , 1983 ; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND PROVIDING FOR REPEAL. WHEREAS, the City Manager has submitted to the City Council a revised budget estimate necessary to the reorganization of the city' s Environmental Code Enforcement and Abatement Program; to provide for personnel costs associated with reductions in force; the implementation of a coordinated employee health services program; and an addition to the Fleet Replacement Fund;' and, WHEREAS, the City Council desires to revise the budget of the City of Beaumont as recommended by the City Manager; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: Section 1 . That the budget of the City of Beaumont for the fiscal year commencing October 1 , 1983 and ending September 30, 1984, be, and the same is hereby , amended by appropriating the departmental, divisional and fund budgets in the amounts as shown in the column entitled "Amended FY 84 Budget" on Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes, and the various appropriations as shown on the attached Exhibit "A" are hereby appropriated to the purposes therein indicated. •� r7,/ 2 �� i I Section 2. That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance, or the application of same to a particular set of persons or circumstances, should for any reason be held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining portions of this ordinance, and to such end the various portions and provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. Section 3 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed to the extent of the conflict only.
