ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE FOR THE ISSUANCE OF A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT TO ESTABLISH A UTILITIES STORAGE YARD IN A GC-MD (GENERAL COMMERCIAL - MULTIPLE DWELLING) DISTRICT ON PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE 7100-7200 BLOCKS OF TRAM ROAD. WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Beaumont considered the issuance of a specific use permit to establish a utilities storage yard in a GC-MD (General Commercial - Multiple Dwelling) District on property located in the 7100-7200 blocks of Tram Road, Beaumont, Jefferson County , Texas, to Gulf States Utilities Company , lessee from owner, Olan O' Bannion, its representatives, successors, and assigns for that certain property hereinafter described; and, WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the issuance of such specific use permit is in the best interest of the City of Beaumont and its citizens, subject to the hereinafter described conditions; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: Section 1 . That the eight ( 8 ) conditions necessary for issuance of a specific ''use permit have been met and a specific use permit to establish a utilities storage yard in a GC-MD (General Commercial -Multiple Dwelling) District on property located in the 7100-7200 Blocks of Tram Road, Beaumont, Jefferson County , Texas, in accordance with Section 30-26 and Section 30-40 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Beaumont, as amended, is hereby granted, for a period of one ( 1 ) year commencing March 29 , 1983, to Gulf States Utilities Company , lessee from owner, Olan O' Bannion, its legal representatives, successors and assigns for that certain tract described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes. ©- -'3 -z6 3 -may- r3 Section 2 . That the specific use permit herein granted is expressly issued for and in accordance with each particular and detail of the site plan attached hereto as Exhibit "B" and made a part hereof for all purposes.
