WHEREAS, Sovran Acquisition Limited Partnership has conveyed to the City of
Beaumont a ten (10) foot wide water line easement to provide access for fire prevention
services to the City of Beaumont, W. B. Dyches Survey, Abstract 17 (8020 Eastex
Freeway), as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto;
WHEREAS,the City Council has considered the conveyance of said easement and
is of the opinion that the delivery and receipt of said easement of property is necessary and
desirable and that same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT said easement conveyed by Sovran Acquisition Limited Partnership is hereby in all
things accepted.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 21st day of
January, 2003.
