HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 01-288 RESOLUTION NO. 01-288 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the City Council hereby approves the submittal of the following projects to the South East Texas Regional Planning Commission-Metropolitan Planning Organization(SETRPC- MPO): Washington Boulevard (Langham to Major Drive) Widen to four(4) lanes O Dowlen Road Extension (College to Washington) Construct new four(4) lane, divided roadway. © Delaware Extension (Dowlen to Major Drive) Construct new four(4) lane, divided roadway. Main Street Reconstruction (Blanchette to Calder) Reconstruct the present roadway. Phelan Boulevard (Major to Keith) Widen to four (4) lanes. 0 Old Dowlen Road (Dowlen to Highway 105) Widen to four(4) lanes. D Transit Improvement Program (Central Business District) Engineering study to develop a Master Plan addressing pedestrian accessibility and mass transit needs. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon inclusion into the Metropolitan Transportation Plan, the City will have a 20% participation in the project cost.
