WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for the purchase of fittings,
pipes and couplings; and,
WHEREAS, Coburn Supply, Golden Triangle Pipe, Hughes Supply and SPI
Municipal Supply submitted bids in the unit prices stated on the bid tabulation attached
hereto as Exhibit "A" with an estimated total annual expenditure of$252,656.03; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by Coburn Supply,
Golden Triangle Pipe, Hughes Supply and SPI Municipal Supply are the lowest and best
bids and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by Coburn Supply, Golden Triangle Pipe, Hughes Supply and
SPI Municipal Supply for an annual contract for the purchase of fittings, pipes and
couplings in the unit prices stated on the bid tabulation attached hereto as Exhibit "A" with
an estimated total annual expenditure of $252,656.03 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the A4(day of
