WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of land for the
south end branch library;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the acquisition of the following land as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto for the
south end branch library and the same is hereby approved:
Tracts 8-A and 9-A Approximately 5 acres out of the McFaddin Trust
Partition, being a part of that certain 15.3697 acre
tract in the J. W. Bullock League. Located at State
Highway 124 (Fannett Road) and Sarah Street
Negotiated Value: $17,000 per acre
Appraiser: Robert O. Grote and Laurie Hall Leister of Hall & Hall Real
Estate
Owners: Bar-C Ranch Company, a Texas Corporation
