WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of land as
described on attached Exhibit "A" for the Neighborhood Revitalization Project; and
WHEREAS, this property needs to be conveyed to the Statewide Consolidated
Community Development Corporation, Inc. for the construction of a home for the
Neighborhood Revitalization Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Interim City Manager be and is hereby authorized to execute a deed conveying
Lot 11, Block 117 of the Cartwright 2nd Addition located at 2928 Goliad Street
as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto to the Statewide Consolidated Community
Development Corporation, Inc. for the construction of a home for the Neighborhood
Revitalization Project.
