WHEREAS, bids were received for a one (1)-year contract for purchasing
passenger and light truck tires; and,
WHEREAS, Gray's Wholesale Tire Distributors, Inc., submitted a bid in the
unit amounts as shown on attached Exhibit "A" ; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Gray's
Wholesale Tire Distributors, Inc., should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Gray's Wholesale Tire Distributors, Inc. in the unit
amounts shown above for a one (1)-year contract for purchasing passenger and
light truck tires be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 12th day
of June, 2001.
