HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 00-046 RESOLUTION NO. 670-4 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Beaumont deems it necessary that improvements to Concord Road from Interstate 10 to East Lucas be located, constructed, widened, extended and maintained; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has found that a public necessity exists requiring the location, construction widening, extension and maintenance of said street on the hereinafter described property; and, WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont, through its duly authorized representatives, has successfully negotiated in good faith with the owners of the hereinafter described land and has been able to agree with such owners of such property as to the fair market value thereof and damages, if any; and, WHEREAS, it has been determined that a 4.2% undivided interest is owned by two minor children and it is necessary to acquire this interest for the above-stated purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT- THAT the partial purchase of the following land as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto for the Concord Road Improvement Project from the owners listed below be and the same is hereby, approved: Parcel 28: 0.030 acre out of Lot 2, Block 1 of the Bullock Addition (2857 Concord Road) Total Appraised Value: $8,609 95.8% Undivided Interest Total Compensation: $8,247.42 (Partial Taking) Appraiser: Bishop Real Estate Appraisers, Inc. Owners: Ronald G. Compton, Mona Maxine Thomas Williams, Michael L. Ryals, Brenda Joyce Ryals, Toni Evyonne Ryals, Terrista Lynette Ryals, Terronica L.
