WHEREAS bids were received for the purchase of 108 linear feet of concrete box
culverts for use by the Public Works Department, Engineering Division; and,
WHEREAS, Hanson Pipe and Products of Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of$205.74 per linear foot for a total of$22,219.92 including job site delivery; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Hanson Pipe and
Products of Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Hanson Pipe and Products of Houston, Texas, for the purchase
of 108 linear feet of concrete box culverts, including job site delivery, in the amount of
$205.74 per linear foot for a total of $22,219.92 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the �� r�day of
