BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT-
THAT the City Council hereby approves the write-off of the following uncollectible water
accounts totaling $60,079.39 for which each individual account exceeds $1,000.00, as shown on
Exhibit "A," attached hereto:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the staternents and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby, in
all things, approved and adopted, and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT if, at any time, an account becomes collectible after
having been written off, the receivable shall be adjusted accordingly and the balance of the account
shall be reinstated and payments shall be applied to that balance.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in strict
compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Goveriunent Code, Chapter 551.
