BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
WHEREAS, Article VI, Section 20 of the City Charter states that "the Council
shall, by resolution, adopt the Capital Program with or without amendment after the
public hearing in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code."
WHEREAS, on August 15, 2023, the City Manager submitted the 2024 Capital
Program; and,
WHEREAS, on August 29, 2023, a public hearing was held for the 2024 Capital
Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are
hereby, in all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the City Council of the City of Beaumont be and they are hereby
authorized to adopt the 2024 Capital Program.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551,
