BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager or his designee be and they are hereby authorized to
execute all documents necessary to accept funding from the Texas Department of State
Health Services (DSHS) for Regional & Local Services System/Local Public Health
Services (RLSS/LPHS)in the amount of $174,270.00, effective on approval from
September 1, 2023 through August 31, 2025, to assist the Beaumont Public Health
Department with planning and performing activities and services that will improve and
strengthen the local public health infrastructure within the State of Texas.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
