BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager or his designee be, and they are hereby authorized to
execute all documents necessary to accept funding in the amount of $150,053.00 from
the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) for the Public Health
Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) grant to assist with planning and performing activities
and services to improve and strengthen the local public health infrastructure within the
State of Texas.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 18th day of
April, 2023.
