BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby approves the purchase of twenty (20) vehicles for
use by various City departments from Silsbee Ford, of Silsbee, Texas, in the amount of
$1,133,767.45 through the GoodBuy Cooperative Purchasing Program in Resolution
21-292; and,
THAT after a fifteen (15) month delay, Council desires to cancel the purchase of
two items from this vendor; two (2) Ford F550 Sewer Maintenance Trucks in the amount
$246,441.91; and,
THAT the new total amount purchased be changed to $887,325.54 for eighteen
(18) vehicles from Silsbee Ford of Silsbee, Texas.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
