BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
WHEREAS, Request for Proposals (RFP) were solicited for the purchase of a
new long throw sound system for the Julie Rogers Theatre; and,
WHEREAS, the proposal of LD Systems, of Houston, Texas, scored the highest
after evaluation by City staff for overall pricing, warranty, prior company experience, and
time frame for installation, as shown below; and,

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the proposal submitted by LD
Systems, of Houston, Texas, for the purchase of a new long throw sound system for the
Julie Rogers Theatre in the amount of $409,540.00 should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY -OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are
hereby, in all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the proposal submitted by LD Systems, of Houston, Texas for the
purchase of a new long throw sound system for the Julie Rogers Theatre in the amount
of $409,540.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 22nd day of
November, 2022.
