BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby approves the purchase of Fifty -Seven (57) sets of
replacement protective bunker gear for use in the Fire Department in the amount of
$192,945.00, from Casco Industries, Inc., of La Porte, Texas purchased through the
Buyboard contract as shown in Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute all related documents relating to the purchase of the above
described equipment from Casco Industries, Inc., of La Porte, Texas in the amount of
$192,945.00.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
