BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby approves the purchase of Fortinet hardware that is
used by all City Departments from CDW-G, of Vernon Hills, Illinois, in t1 he amount of
$69,790.00, through the State of Texas Department of Information (DIR) contract
beginning on November 24, 2022; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute all related documents relating to the purchase of the above
described equipment from CDW-G, of Vernon Hills, Illinois, in the amount of
$69,790.00, through the DIR contract.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 1st day of
November, 2022.
