BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
WHEREAS, Laura Clark, Todd Simoneaux, and Kyle Haynes are currently
authorized representatives for the City and Wells Fargo Safekeeping Account; and,
WHEREAS, Laura Clark and Kyle Haynes are to be deleted as authorized
representatives for the City and Wells Fargo Safekeeping Account effective November
1, 2022; and,
WHEREAS, Kenneth R. Williams and Cheryl Ray require authority to be
designated as authorized representatives for the City of Beaumont and to transmit funds
for investment in Wells Fargo and are each further authorized to withdraw funds as
needed, to issue letter of instruction, and to take all other actions deemed necessary or
appropriate for the investment of local funds effective November 1, 2022; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are
hereby, in all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT Laura Clark and Kyle Haynes are to be deleted as authorized
representatives for the City and Wells Fargo Safekeeping Account effective November
1, 2022; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT Kenneth R. Williams and Cheryl Ray are
hereby authorized as representatives for the City and Wells Fargo Safekeeping Account
effective November 1, 2022.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
