BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
WHEREAS on October 25, 2022, Council approved resolution 22-279 for the
purchase of a crime scene laser mapping system for use by the Police Department from
Collision & Crime Forensic Solutions, of Papillion, Nebraska, in the amount of
$110,018.99. The extended warranty and an additional piece of necessary equipment
were inadvertently left off of the agenda item, and therefore not included in the
resolution; and,
WHEREAS the cost of the extended three (3) year warranty and the additional
piece of necessary equipment will result in an additional $10,487.20.00, making the total
cost of the above described equipment to $120,506.19 99 as shown on Exhibit "A"
attached hereto; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are
hereby, in all things, approved and adopted; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute an additional payment to Collision & Crime Forensic Solutions, of
Papillion, Nebraska in the amount of $10,487.20 for the above described equipment.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
