BE IT RESOLVES BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
WHEREAS, the Jefferson Central Appraisal [District submitted the Certified
Appraisal Roll on July 20, 2022, in the amount of $9,477,688,929, and;
WHEREAS, on September 13, 2022, the Council approved an ordinance to
accept the appraised roll and established the property tax rate for the year 2022 (Fir
2023) _
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL\/EE) 13Y THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are
hereby, in all things, approved and adopted; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOL\/Et7 THAT pursuant to the Texas Property Tax Code,
Section 26,09, that the City Council of the City of Beaumont hereby approve the 2022
tax roll this 18th day of October, 2022_
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
