BE IT RESOLA/EL:) BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
WHEREAS, the claim of Steven \/aulner was discussed in Executive Session
properly called and held on Tuesday, October 1 1, 2022; and,
WHEREAS, the City Attorney is requesting authority to settle this claim;
NOW, THEREF(DRE, BE IT RESC>L\/EF-) BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby,
in all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the City Attorney be, and is hereby, authorized to settle the claim of
Steven \/aulner for the sum of Thirty Thousand and 0/100 E)ollars ($30,000.00); and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOL.\/ElD THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute all documents related to settlement of the claim_
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551 _
