WHEREAS, on April 12, 2022 the City Council of the City of Beaumont passed
Resolution No. 22-108 awarding a contract in the amount of $25,088,259,00 to Allco,
LLC, of Beaumont, Texas, for the Collier's Ferry Pump Station Project; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1, in the amount of $152,935.00, is necessary to
re-route an existing electrical duct bank that conflicts with the tunneling shaft, thereby
increasing the total contract amount to $25,241,194.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby,
in all things, approved and adopted, and,
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change
Order No. 1, in the amount of $152,935.00, for the additional work described above,
thereby increasing the total contract amount to $25,241,194.00 for the Collier's Ferry
Pump Station Project.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
