WHEREAS, bids were solicited for a six (6) month contract, with the option of
one (1 ) renewal of a six (6) month term at the same pricing as the awarded contract, for
the purchase of Aluminum Sulfate for use by the Water Utilities department; and,
WHEREAS, G20 Technologies, LLC, of Little Rock, Arkansas, submitted a bid for
an estimated amount of $332,000.00 as shown below:

;and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by G20
Technologies, LLC, of Little Rock, Arkansas, is the lowest responsible bidder providing
the best value to the City and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RES(DLA/EE) BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OE THE CITY OE BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby,
in all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the bid submitted by G20 Technologies, LLC, of Little Rock, Arkansas, for
a six (6) month contract, with the option of one (I) renewal of a six (6) month term at the
same pricing as the awarded contract, for the purchase of Aluminum Sulfate for use by
the Water Utilities E)epartment in the unit amounts as shown above for an estimated
amount of $332,000.00 as shown above be accepted by the City of Beaumont; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Interim City Manager be and he is
hereby authorized to execute a contract with G20 Technologies, LLC, of Little Rock,
Arkansas, for the purposes described herein.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 19th day of
July, 2022.
