BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Interim City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to apply for and accept
funding for the City of Beaumont in an amount up to $13,0.00.00 from the Texas
Department of Transportation (TXDOT) Aviation Division for an Airports Coronavirus
Response Grant Program (ACRGP) under provisions of the Coronavirus Response and
Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act from the Texas Department of
Transportation (TXDOT) Aviation Division. If accepted funds will be used toward the City's
operating costs at the Beaumont Municipal Airport including reimbursement of the
airport's costs related to operations, personnel, cleaning, sanitization, janitorial services,
and combating the spread of pathogens in accordance with the limitations prescribed in
the Act.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 24th day of
May, 2022.
