BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Interim City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to apply for and accept
funding for the City of Beaumont in an amount up to $32,000.00 from the Texas
Department of Transportation (TXDOT) Aviation Division for an American Rescue Plan
Act Program (ARPA) Grant. If approved, the grant funds will be used toward the City's
operating costs at the Beaumont Municipal Airport including reimbursement of an airport's
costs related to operations, personnel, cleaning, sanitization, janitorial services, and,
combating the spread of pathogens in accordance with the limitations prescribed in the
Act.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strictcompliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter,
551.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 24th day of
May, 2022.
