WHEREAS, on November 5, 1996, the City Council of the City of Beaumont,
Texas adopted Resolution No. 96-273 approving the Texas Local Government
Investment Pool (TexPool) as an investment alternative for the City of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, Kyle Hayes, Todd Simoneaux and Kristin Ferguson are currently
authorized representatives with TexPool; and,
WHEREAS, Kyle Hayes is to be deleted as an authorized representative with
TexPool effective March 30, 2022; and,
WHEREAS, Kristin Ferguson is to be deleted as an authorized representative
with TexPool effective April 9, 2022; and,
WHEREAS, Chris Boone is to be designated as an authorized representative for
the City of Beaumont effective March 30, 2022;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby,
in all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT Chris Boone is to be designated as authorized representative for the City
of Beaumont effective March 30, 2022 and is hereby authorized to transmit funds for
investment in Texas Local Government Investment Pool (TexPool) and is further
authorized to withdraw funds as needed, to issue letters of instruction and to take all
other actions deemed necessary or appropriate for the investment of local funds; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT Kyle Hayes is to be deleted as an
authorized representative with TexPool effective March 30, 2022; and,
BE IT ALSO RESOLVED THAT Kristin Ferguson is to be deleted as an
authorized representative with TexPool effective April 9, 2022.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 29th day of
