WHEREAS, bids were solicited for a one (1) year contract, with the option of two
(2) renewals of one (1) year terms at the same pricing as the awarded contract, for
elevator maintenance at various City facilities for use by the Facilities Maintenance
Division; and,
WHEREAS, Integrity Elevator Solutions, LLC, of Buna, Texas, submitted a bid for
a total estimated amount of $39,600.00, with a 20% mark-up of materials and hourly
rates for work not defined in the contract, in the amounts as shown on Exhibit "A,"
attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Integrity
Elevator Solutions, LLC, of Buna, Texas, is the lowest responsible bidder providing the
best value to the City and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby,
in all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the bid submitted by Integrity Elevator Solutions, LLC; of Buna, Texas, for
a one (1) year contract, with the option of two (2) renewals of one (1) year terms at the
same pricing as the awarded contract, for elevator maintenance at various City facilities
for use by the Facilities Maintenance Division for a total estimated amount of
$39,600.00, with a 20% mark-up of materials and hourly rates for work not defined in
the contract, in the amounts as shown on Exhibit "A," attached hereto, be accepted by
the City of Beaumont; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute a contract with Integrity Elevator Solutions, LLC, of Buna, Texas,
for the purposes described herein.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
