WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont solicited bids for furnishing all labor, materials,
and equipment for the Fleet Management Parking Lot Reconstruction Phase 11 Project;
and,
WHEREAS, Elite Contractors & Equipment, LTE), of Kirbyville, Texas, submitted
a bid in the amount of $1,584,'104.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Structure
Guard, LLC, of Austin, Texas, is the lowest responsible bidder providing services at the
best value to the City and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT F2ESOLA/E1D BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 13EAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby,
in all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the City Council hereby approves the award of a contract to Elite
Contractors & Equipment, LTA, of Kirbyville, Texas, in the amount of $1 ,584,'104.00, for
the Fleet Management Parking Lot Reconstruction Phase 11 Project; and,
BE IT FURTHER F2ESOLA/EF-) THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute a contract with Elite Contractors 8& Equipment, LTA, of Kirbyville,
Texas, for the purposes described herein_
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 15th day of
February, 2022.
