BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to apply for and receive grant
funds from the Jefferson County Tourism Commission (JCTC) Grants Program in an
amount up to $26,790.00 to host the National Beep Baseball Association (NBBA) 2022
World Series tournament to be held July 24-31, 2022 at the Chris Quin Memorial Soccer
Complex.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 1st day of
February, 2022.
