BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager, or his designee, be and they are hereby authorized to accept
Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds through the United States
Department of Treasury American Rescue Plan Act, in the amount of $33,084,864.00,
for the purpose of covering COVID-19 emergency related expenditures incurred
between March 3, 2021 and December 31, 2024.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter

PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 25th day of
