BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby approves the purchase of eight (8) Compressed Natural
Gas (CNG) powered transit buses for use by Beaumont Municipal Transit from Gillig
Manufacturing Company, of Livermore, California, in the amount of $4,155,976.00
through the Commonwealth of Virginia Cooperative Purchasing Program.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 27th day of
April, 2021.
