BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT,
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute a contract with The
Brandon Johnson -Believe and Achieve Foundation in the amount of $100,000 for the
acquisition, rehabilitation and resale of homes that have been tagged for demolition to
be sold to eligible low -to -moderate income families, said contract to be funded from the
2020 HOME Program.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 16th day of
March, 2021.
