BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to apply for and receive funding
for the City of Beaumont through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, 2021
Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) in an amount not to exceed
$135,404.02 to assist in developing and carrying out various emergency management
programs.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 9th day of
March, 2021.
