BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to receive funding in an amount
up to $577,359.75 through the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) to implement
long-term hazard mitigation measures following a federal disaster declaration; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute all documents necessary to accept grant funding through the
Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) in' an amount up to $577,359.75.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 26th day of
January, 2021.
