BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the 2020 tax rate is proposed to be $0.71/$100 of valuation; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the date of September 15, 2020 be and the
same is hereby set as the date at which the City Council will conduct public hearings on
the proposed tax rate. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers, City Hall,
801 Main Street, Beaumont, Texas at 1:30 PM September 15, 2020 at which times the
Council will receive public comment on the proposed tax rate of $0.71/$100 of valuation;
and,
BE IT ALSO RESOLVED THAT the City Clerk is to publish notice of said public
hearing pursuant to V.T.C.A., Tax Code §26.06.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 11th day of
