BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to receive funding for the City of
Beaumont from the Coronavirus Relief Fund through the United States Department of
Treasury in an amount not to exceed $6,587,900 for expenditures incurred between
March 1, 2020 and December 30, 2020 due to the public health emergency specific to
COVID-19.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 26th day of
May, 2020.
