BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to apply for and receive funding
in an amount up to $283,674 through the Bureau of Justice Assistance Coronavirus
Emergency Supplemental Funding (CESF) Program for the purchase of personal
protective equipment, air sanitizers, vehicle sanitizers, gloves, masks and first
responder overtime in preventing, preparing for, and responding to COVID-19; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute all documents necessary to apply for and accept grant funding
through the Bureau of Justice Assistance Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental
Funding (CESF) Program in an amount up to $283,674.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things Conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
