BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby approves the purchase of twelve (12) complete Self -
Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) units, twenty-five (25) Cylinders, forty-eight (48)
Face Masks, and one (1) Posicheck Air. Pack Testing Machine for use by the Fire
Department from Municipal Emergency Services, Inc., of Houston, Texas, in the amount
of $127,685.34 through the Houston -Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) Cooperative
Purchasing Program.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 14th day of
January, 2020.
