R E' 'S' 0 'L' U' T' I' '0' N
WHEREAS, only one bid was received for the furnishing of
plumbing work in the jail area of the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, Jim Connor Plumbing, Inc. submitted this bid in
the amount of Three Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty and No/100
($3,860.00) Dollars for the plumbing work in the jail area of the
Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Jim Connor Plumbing, Inc. is the only bid received
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Jim Connor Plumbing, Inc. in the amount of $3,860.00
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to execute a contract with Jim Connor Plumbing, Inc. for
said plumbing work, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest
to said contract and to affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
