WHEREAS, informal bids were received for' -the purchase of
3,500 pavement markers; and,. i
WIEREAS, American Clay Forming Plant submitted.a bid in the -
amount of One Thousand One Hundred One and 31/100 ($1,101.31) Dollars
for the purchase of said pavement markers; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by American Clay Forming Plant is the only bid received and...
should be accepted;.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of American Clay Forming Plant in the amount of°$1,101.31
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said 3,500 pavement markers upon
acceptable delivery.
