WHEREAS, informal bids were received for furnishingbell joint
clamps to _replenish inventory stock; and,
WHEREAS, Dresser Industries submitted a bid in theamounts'.-listed
hereinbelow for furnishing said bell joint clamps to replenish inventory
stock:
24 - 6" clamps at $24.62 - $ 590.88
24 - 8" clamps at $31.54 - $ 756.96
8 -12" clamps at $42.90 $ 343.20
$1,691.04
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Dresser Industries is the best -bid and should be..accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Dresser Industries in the amounts hereinabove
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said bell joint clamps upon ac-
ceptable delivery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 4,
