RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing 5,000 feet of fire
hose for the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, Fire Fox Corporation submitted a bid in the amount of
Four Thousand Seven Hundred Forty and No/100 ($4,740.00) Dollars for 2-1/2"
fire hose for -the -Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, Arlington Equipment Company submitted a a bid in the
amount of Two Thousand One Hundred Sixty and No/100 ($2,160.00) Dollars for
1-1/2" fire hose for the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids sub-
mitted by Fire Fox Corporation and Arlington Equipment Company are the lowest
and best bids and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAU MT:
THAT the bid submitted by Fire Fox Corporation in the amount of $4,740.00
for 2-1/2 fire hose and Arlington Equipment Company in the amount of $2,160.00
for 1-1/2" fire hose be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City official is hereby authorized to make payment for said fire hose upon
acceptable delivery.
